Lets talk politics....

For a change my post is on politics today.............

The word is out that Captain Vijaykanth has shown green signal for alliance to his party members.Those who synchronize with our ideologies and those who care about people welfare "can have an alliance with our party(note this ,he wont go it seems.He he)".

IS THIS DECISION SELFISH OR FOR THE SURVIVAL??

I'd rather say both but more the latter and less the former.Before goin into that debate ,lets see how parties win elections.Our election system is illogical.Results dont turn towards the one who does things for people(of course there is none!!!!!!!!!.That's secondary).

For Example, lets suppose 8 parties contest in an election ,leaving the big guns 6 parties are left.The big guns always have a constant vote bank and so does the smaller ones.Only the amount of votes differs,If the big guns have 40 % each that makes 80 % the vote bank.The remaining percentage is held by the smaller parties.So whoever makes a big party .i.e an alliance with 4 or 5 parties with a decent vote bank,the other one loses irrespective of what good or bad they've done.There are very few exceptions to this scenario.

My question is why dont all parties stand individually wherever they want to contest,that'll decide who has got indvidual majority among people.Its not about a game where the team with more parties get more votes.This kinda election would help politicians with ideologies like Vijaykanth to stand alone and show who they are.And after the results if a coalition government is needed they can make it.By this way,the bad parties in a good alliance cant get votes.

Apart from that people have openly started selling their votes for money and material.In a recent survey of 100 people many were stating this statement.Whoever does these things our vote is for them.( Shame to democracy).

Not to mention the Election promises,everything free.Just because people get everything free does it solve the problem,never.It only makes the state financially unstable(But we can be happy atleast they spend that on people instaed of increasing their balance).Thats only a temproary solution.Increase the standard of living of people,create job oppurtunities ,With that they can afford to buy their own items which is being offered for free now.

COMING BACK TO CAPTAIN...

With such a modus operandi of elections,its difficult for him to stand alone and conquer the throne even though he's got a decent vote bank.If he still purses saying alliance with only god and people all his party members who contested in the past and future elections will be bankrupt and many already have.As a result there would be no one willing to contest from his party.Maybe Vijaykanth is interested in people's welfare and not money(as he says) but its a hard truth to accept that his party members too will be.

Lets atleast hope he makes it with the less corrupt .

P.s. With the big daddy retiring ,young gun about to take the throne its a crucial time that the elder gun got sick of central proceedings..There couldnt have been any better time for things to get worse....
