Deemed Universities ,A factory that produces Engineers and Doctrates at a high RATE??

Good day folks, recently 42 or 44 Universities have been stripped off their University status for high fees structure and exceeding student accomodation limits.Hope you all know that.

Totally 50,000 students have been affected and Anna University has assured they'd be offered shelter. The action has angered the Universities since only 3 days before the action,Inspection has took place for Deemed status. They 're joining hands to face the situation legally.

As per press sources getting Deemed status is no big deal nowadays.Infact if the amount is sent, few people dont even inspect for formality and offer the status. That's the reason why buildings smaller than our houses have boards stating Engineering Colleges(AANA ANDHA CHINA BUILDING KOODA KATTAMA ORU COLLEGE UNIVERSITY ARAMCHITOMNU BOARD POTU ONE YEAR COLLEGE UM NADATHINAANGA) .

Not only University status even degrees could be obtained by paying money in these Universities.Phd holders have become very common nowadays. One of my family acquaintances had a plan to do Phd,The person asked me shall i go through the direct way or just pay money and get it and it was offered by one among the many Universities which got stripped. As a result many high profile Engineers and doctorates come out but who are truly not as talented as their grades.

Though Anna University has offered shelter for the affected students, its a question whether all of them meet eligibility criteria for Anna University affilated Colleges cos that's the first reason why many go to Deemed Universities. It'll be good if they relax the criteria .

Hope All goes well for them................

Surya veetla raid.............................

DISCLAIMER:THIS BLOG ABOUT INCOME TAX RAID IN SURYA'S HOME IS NOT MY OWN STORY ,JUST A REPRODUCTION OF PRESS PUBLICATION.....

Income tax raid took place recently at the homes of big names in the kollywood industry.Surya,K.s Ravi Kumar,Vadivel are the few who were raided.

SURYA :

Surya who is known for maintaining his income records perfectly with private auditors came under the scanner of Income Tax department due to some complaints received on his salary issues in movies and ads.

Another word of mouth is that,Surya's brother Karthik's Aayirathil Oruvan's distribution rights were bought by a "POWERFUL VIP".But after seeing the movie he was shocked and intended to return the movie rights and get refund. This became a major problem few days before the movie release and the production people bought it to the attention of Surya.Surya paid the amount and released the movie in those areas."THE VIP" was astonished how surya could generate such a huge sum in one night.Another reason is believed to be Surya transferring his call sheet given to a VIP to Ram Gopal Varma for his bollywood venture.Though that "VIP" has no hard feelings towards Surya's actions his followers are believed to be angered....

The officials didn't discover anything fruitful in the raid ,though few unxplained documents were recovered.

K.S RAVIKUMAR AND VADIVEL:

The officials recovered only 30 lac in cash from the directors home.

Vadivel has become the highest paid comedian with his salary hitting lakhs per day for his call sheet, if the industry sources are to believed.

He was blocked in the airport on his return from some place,He was escorted by a car in the front and back by the officials. When questioned about few documents he lost his cool and threatened that he'll complaint to CM.............

Enavo as a common citizen i dont understand one thing,

Adhavan declared as smash hit(APDINU SOLIKARANGA).
If so, Actor Surya was Raided.........
Director K.S .Ravikumar was Raided.............
Comedian Vadivel was Raided.............

PRODUCER????????

Avara yen ya viteenga .....Ena logic oh!!!!! .
Idhula vera avangellam bayangra strict officers am(Unmailayae).

P.s It seems Nayanthara escaped the raid with warnings beforehand through her political connections in other states.

Aayirathil oruvan-This s not a review

DISCLAIMER: NOT AIMED AT CRITICISING OR DEGRADING THE MOVIE .READ FULLY .

Aayirathil oruvan one of its kind rather first of its kind in Tamil cinema, hats off to Selva for that.I guess most of you would have watched the movie so i dont wanna waste my time on crew ,plot etc etc and people who havent watched the movie ,i kindly request you not to read this.

CREDITS:

Goin for the credits ,there are lots of positive aspects in the movie. The whole first half for instance and cinematography...Wowwww absolutely mind blowing.Ramji deserves a salute for that.I guess theres no need to benchmark hollywood anymore.Ramji and Selva has made a stamp, a benchmark of their own.The pre historic stuff gives a authnetic ancient feel
and Reemas costumes and acting deserve a special appreciation.Kollywood is wasting a potential actress.Karthik and Parthiban has done justice to their roles. The second half is not bad as many said ,only it takes a bit more to understand. There's no denying the logic is difficult to understand in some parts.

Logic in Fantasy genre:

Logics and Fantasies

There are two kinda logical breaches, one like VIJAY MOVIES and the other FANTASIES.

Take Avatar or Harry potter whole story is illogical but for each illogical scene they offer an explanation in illogical logic i.e,fantasy logic.

For example in Avatar they control birds direction with mind but they offered an explanation how it is done.In Harry potter wand does anything, how brooms fly ,how each magic works have an fantasy explanation. In spider man how he spins out web ,jumps all have a fantasy explanation.

Thats wat aayirathil oruvan misses in few scenes. An explanation of those few scenes would have made second half reach out to all.Theres no denial theres explanation but its difficult for 90 % of people to percieve as its abstract.

Cholas and Pandias...

Though the movie has a disclaimer its completely fictional.I dont blame anything logically that the cholas and pandiyas were not so and so.Quentin tarantino provided a fictional end to Hitlers Life in the movie "Inglorious Basterds" .Hitler didnt have a positive image in the pages of history,so it didnt look odd.But the cholas and Pandiyas had a positive image in the pages of Tamil Nadu History .Potraying the cholas stealing a Pandyan statue and the Cholan People being tortured mercilessly by the Pandyas men in the ship do look a bit odd.The younger generation wouldn mind as most of them wouldn know such histories or dont mind about that much. Its a question how well it goes with older people and social activists..............

The notion of this post is not to talk ill about the film ,its a worry such a brave ,bold and unique attempt will be criticized for the following reasons.Selva could have made it completely fictional with completely imaginary civilizations instead of tampering an existing one and kept a clearer fantasy explanation for few illogical scenes and it would have been acclaimed by all people.........

All the best selva for the next venture and the sequel...............

IPL - 3- The game begins

The lucrative ,cash rich third version of Indian Premiere Leauge auction has been held and has few interesting and shocking outcomes.

The hottest pick of the day was the tall ,sturdy West Indies All rounder Keiron Pollard bid for 750,000$ by the Mumbai Indians(thats the maximum a team can spend and in tie breaker it has exceeded that amount).

The New zealand pace spear head Shane Bond who has retired from the test cricket to concentrate on the shorter version of games was bid for the same whopping amount by the Knight Riders.

Kemar Roach again from the Carribean islands was the second costliest player with the bid of 720,000 $ by the deccan chargers.

The Angered Pakistanis:

The strange thing is that none of the 11 Pakistani players were bid inspite of having many potential t2o players.Lalit Modi has refused any discriminations and has said the franchises are lookig for available players and pointed out many star players who were not bid and 67 players were auctioned for 13 vacancies.

Afridi was quoted saying that "The way I see it, the IPL and India have made fun of us and our country," he said. "We are the Twenty20 world champions and for me the attitude of the franchises was disappointing. I feel bad for the Indian people who, I am sure, wanted to see us play in the IPL this year." (he he highly optimistic!!!!!!!!! ) .Abdul Razzaq has voiced his opinion not to mix politics and cricket

However, Ijaz Butt, the PCB chairman, was relatively unfazed. "It really does not bother us; what difference does it make to us if our players don't play in the IPL this season? They didn't play in the last season as well," he said.(I wonder if he has any connections with former president Bush,I mean don you see how he talks ,BOTH SOUNDS STUPID )

P.s :Lets hope no terrorist attacks happen in India quoting this rejection as a reason.

Franchises and bids:

Mumbai Indians:

The Mumbai Indians spent the entire amount on Keiron Pollard.A tie breaker occured between Mumbai ,Chennai ,Bangalore and Kolkatta and finally Mumbai Indians won the race .Truly worth every cent spent.

In: Keiron Pollard.

Chennai Super Kings:

Chennai super kings was'nt lucky enough to get the bids. They lost Pollard ,Bond,Roach and Morgan in the bid. They finally settled for the srilankan allrounder Thissara Perera at 50,000$ who recently scored century in his debut against India.Justin kemp was bought at the last for 100,000$.

In:Justin Kemp,Thissara Perera.

Kolkata Knight Riders:

Known for their spending capacity, brand value etc etc (of course not for playing cricket) made a lavish bid on Bond for 7,50,000$ after a tie breaker with deccan.A potential wicket taker(aana oru bowler ku idu overa ila).

In:Shane Bond.

Deccan Chargers:

After losing pollard and Bond in tie breaker they secured the services of West Indies Pacer Roach for a whopping 720,000$ (!!!! atleast they have few batsmen unlike kkr).Left with 30,000 $ they bought u-19 player Harmeet Singh for 8 lac Rs.

In: Roach and Harmeet singh

Delhi Daredevils:

Delhi did not bid for any big guns and bid South African pacer Parnell for 600,000$,the third expensive SA player in IPL.

In:Parnell

Royal Challengers:

Royal Challengers after failing to bid Pollard did'nt go for bowlers and hired English Batsman Morgan for 220,000$.

In:Morgan

Kings xi:

Kings xi entered the contest for Pollard and Roach but failed to capitalise,They bid for west Indies Batsman Adrian Bharath for 75,000 $ and finally bought Kaif for 250,000$(!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and Yusuf Abdulla to fill their only overseas slot left.

In:Adrian Bharath,Kaif,Yusuf Abdulla.

Rajasthan Royals:

The always different and cheap Franchise did'nt enter the bid for any big guns. They recuirted Damien Martyn without any contest for 100,000 $ and Australian all rounder Adam Voges for 50,000 $ and as usual quoted sayin they got what they wanted and this is the right mix etc etc...

In :Damien Martyn and Adam Voges

All iz well ,Hope fake ipl players blog comes out soon The most happening thing than the IPL itself..............

Lets talk politics....

For a change my post is on politics today.............

The word is out that Captain Vijaykanth has shown green signal for alliance to his party members. Those who synchronize with our ideologies and those who care about people welfare "can have an alliance with our party(note this ,he wont go it seems. He he)".

IS THIS DECISION SELFISH OR FOR THE SURVIVAL??

I'd rather say both but more the latter and less the former. Before goin into that debate ,lets see how parties win elections. Our election system is illogical. Results dont turn towards the one who does things for people(of course there is none!!!!!!!!!.That's secondary).

For Example, lets suppose 8 parties contest in an election ,leaving the big guns 6 parties are left. The big guns always have a constant vote bank and so does the smaller ones.Only the amount of votes differs,If the big guns have 40 % each that makes 80 % the vote bank. The remaining percentage is held by the smaller parties. So whoever makes a big party .i.e an alliance with 4 or 5 parties with a decent vote bank, the other one loses irrespective of what good or bad they've done. There are very few exceptions to this scenario.

My question is why dont all parties stand individually wherever they want to contest, that'll decide who has got indvidual majority among people. Its not about a game where the team with more parties get more votes. This kinda election would help politicians with ideologies like Vijaykanth to stand alone and show who they are.And after the results if a coalition government is needed they can make it.By this way,the bad parties in a good alliance cant get votes.

Apart from that people have openly started selling their votes for money and material. In a recent survey of 100 people many were stating this statement.Whoever does these things our vote is for them.( Shame to democracy).

Not to mention the Election promises, everything free.Just because people get everything free does it solve the problem, never. It only makes the state financially unstable(But we can be happy atleast they spend that on people instaed of increasing their balance).Thats only a temproary solution.Increase the standard of living of people, create job oppurtunities ,With that they can afford to buy their own items which is being offered for free now.

COMING BACK TO CAPTAIN...
With such a modus operandi of elections, its difficult for him to stand alone and conquer the throne even though he's got a decent vote bank.If he still purses saying alliance with only god and people all his party members who contested in the past and future elections will be bankrupt and many already have.As a result there would be no one willing to contest from his party.Maybe Vijaykanth is interested in people's welfare and not money(as he says) but its a hard truth to accept that his party members too will be.

Lets atleast hope he makes it with the less corrupt .

P.s. With the big daddy retiring ,young gun about to take the throne its a crucial time that the elder gun got sick of central proceedings..There couldnt have been any better time for things to get worse....

Watch out for more confusions in the state ............

Will update WTF happens................

Its not a vacation Blue(s)

INDIA VS SRILANKA
2ND ODI, TRI SERIES

Am not goin to give a match review here.Infact i accidentally came to know today match is taking place.Thats good for India atleast they scored 279.

As usual my luck followed the Indian team today .

Ball 1: I saw accidentaly,Dhoni was dismissed from his succesful test audition.I switched off.Anyway i wonder how inspite of this India was 170 in 30 overs.Except sehwag no one produced a blitz kreig, even that was nearly a run per ball 47.

Ball 2:Agian with the hope of seein a good score i switched on,Raina dismissed.

The only 2 deliveries i saw in the Indian Innings.

I TOTALLY QUIT THAT I SHOULD'NT SEE FOR INDIA'S SAKE

But my patriotism did'nt allow me to.Again switched on the tv by 10.

Over 1: Powerplay ,atleast there i should have turned off

Nehra bowled generously giving boundaries and not to mention the no ball which he stepped miles outside and the six that went in the free hit.

Upto this point i dunno whether they played seriously or not but last couple of overs i felt as if they're on vacation playin beach cricket especially yuvi.

Scene 1: Yuvi and Kholi

Perera struck hardly down the ground , a brilliant effort from kohli in the deep .He stopped the boundary and saved couple of runs but unfortunately kohlis pants went down and Yuvi was laughing like anythin. As if thats not enough broadcasters zoomed in on the scene to show what he's laughing at.

Scene 2:Once again Yuvi with zaheer

3 runs were needed to win,the following ball was a free hit.Zaheer took a brilliant catch running backward(IPELLAM PUDIPANUNGA,NERA VARADHA VITRUVAANGA).He and yuvi were casually shaking hands and walking casually as if thats a wicket(REMEMBER ITS A FREE HIT).Dhoni was shouting from the stumps to throw the ball as its a free hit.By that time injured samraweera has finished walking(In fact limping) 2 runs and the curtains goes down the next ball for India.....

Congrats to samraweera on his second century......

Yuvi tried to save the party though by scoring a decent 74 but i dunno wat made him feel so funny on the verge of losing..

God only knows......

BONUS PIC

WATCH ROBIN UTHAPPA,DINESH KARTHIK AND OUR YUVI'S EYES.WHERE THEY ARE LOOKING AT??????????.

Hmmmm Atleast hoping to see this scene in the next match

All the best to TEAM INDIA.......

Interview questions part 2

Part 2

26. What kind of person would you refuse to work with?

Do not be trivial. It would take disloyalty to the organization, violence or lawbreaking to get
you to object. Minor objections will label you as a whiner.

27. What is more important to you: the money or the work?

Money is always important, but the work is the most important. There is no better answer.

28. What would your previous supervisor say your strongest point is?

There are numerous good possibilities:
Loyalty, Energy, Positive attitude, Leadership, Team player, Expertise, Initiative, Patience,
Hard work, Creativity, Problem solver

29. Tell me about a problem you had with a supervisor

Biggest trap of all. This is a test to see if you will speak ill of your boss. If you fall for it and
tell about a problem with a former boss, you may well below the interview right there. Stay
positive and develop a poor memory about any trouble with a supervisor.

30. What has disappointed you about a job?

Don't get trivial or negative. Safe areas are few but can include:
Not enough of a challenge. You were laid off in a reduction Company did not win a contract,
which would have given you more responsibility.

31. Tell me about your ability to work under pressure.

You may say that you thrive under certain types of pressure. Give an example that relates
to the type of position applied for.

32. Do your skills match this job or another job more closely?

Probably this one. Do not give fuel to the suspicion that you may want another job more
than this one.

33. What motivates you to do your best on the job?

This is a personal trait that only you can say, but good examples are:
Challenge, Achievement, Recognition

34. Are you willing to work overtime? Nights? Weekends?

This is up to you. Be totally honest.

35. How would you know you were successful on this job?

Several ways are good measures:
You set high standards for yourself and meet them. Your outcomes are a success.Your boss
tell you that you are successful

36. Would you be willing to relocate if required?

You should be clear on this with your family prior to the interview if you think there is a
chance it may come up. Do not say yes just to get the job if the real answer is no. This can
create a lot of problems later on in your career. Be honest at this point and save yourself
future grief.

37. Are you willing to put the interests of the organization ahead of your own?

This is a straight loyalty and dedication question. Do not worry about the deep ethical and
philosophical implications. Just say yes.
38. Describe your management style.

Try to avoid labels. Some of the more common labels, like progressive, salesman or
consensus, can have several meanings or descriptions depending on which management
expert you listen to. The situational style is safe, because it says you will manage according
to the situation, instead of one size fits all.

39. What have you learned from mistakes on the job?

Here you have to come up with something or you strain credibility. Make it small, well
intentioned mistake with a positive lesson learned. An example would be working too far
ahead of colleagues on a project and thus throwing coordination off.

40. Do you have any blind spots?

Trick question. If you know about blind spots, they are no longer blind spots. Do not reveal
any personal areas of concern here. Let them do their own discovery on your bad points. Do
not hand it to them.

41. If you were hiring a person for this job, what would you look for?

Be careful to mention traits that are needed and that you have.

42. Do you think you are overqualified for this position?

Regardless of your qualifications, state that you are very well qualified for the position.

43. How do you propose to compensate for your lack of experience?

First, if you have experience that the interviewer does not know about, bring that up: Then,
point out (if true) that you are a hard working quick learner.

44. What qualities do you look for in a boss?

Be generic and positive. Safe qualities are knowledgeable, a sense of humor, fair, loyal to
subordinates and holder of high standards. All bosses think they have these traits.

45. Tell me about a time when you helped resolve a dispute between others.

Pick a specific incident. Concentrate on your problem solving technique and not the dispute
you settled.

46. What position do you prefer on a team working on a project?

Be honest. If you are comfortable in different roles, point that out.

47. Describe your work ethic.

Emphasize benefits to the organization. Things like, determination to get the job done and
work hard but enjoy your work are good.

48. What has been your biggest professional disappointment?

Be sure that you refer to something that was beyond your control. Show acceptance and no
negative feelings.

49. Tell me about the most fun you have had on the job.

Talk about having fun by accomplishing something for the organization.

50. Do you have any questions for me?

Always have some questions prepared. Questions prepared where you will be an asset to
the organization are good. How soon will I be able to be productive? and What type of
projects will I be able to assist on? are examples.

All the best guys n gals

cya ............................

Interview Questions Part1

Review these typical interview questions and think about how you would answer them. Read
the questions listed; you will also find some strategy suggestions with it.

1. Tell me about yourself:

The most often asked question in interviews. You need to have a short statement prepared
in your mind. Be careful that it does not sound rehearsed. Limit it to work-related items
unless instructed otherwise. Talk about things you have done and jobs you have held that
relate to the position you are interviewing for. Start with the item farthest back and work up
to the present.

2. Why did you leave your last job?

Stay positive regardless of the circumstances. Never refer to a major problem with
management and never speak ill of supervisors, co-workers or the organization. If you do,
you will be the one looking bad. Keep smiling and talk about leaving for a positive reason
such as an opportunity, a chance to do something special or other forward-looking reasons.

3. What experience do you have in this field?

Speak about specifics that relate to the position you are applying for. If you do not have
specific experience, get as close as you can.

4. Do you consider yourself successful?

You should always answer yes and briefly explain why. A good explanation is that you have
set goals, and you have met some and are on track to achieve the others.

5. What do co-workers say about you?

Be prepared with a quote or two from co-workers. Either a specific statement or a
paraphrase will work. Jill Clark, a co-worker at Smith Company, always said I was the
hardest workers she had ever known. It is as powerful as Jill having said it at the interview
herself.

6. What do you know about this organization?

This question is one reason to do some research on the organization before the interview.
Find out where they have been and where they are going. What are the current issues and
who are the major players?

7. What have you done to improve your knowledge in the last year?

Try to include improvement activities that relate to the job. A wide variety of activities can
be mentioned as positive self-improvement. Have some good ones handy to mention.

8. Are you applying for other jobs?

Be honest but do not spend a lot of time in this area. Keep the focus on this job and what
you can do for this organization. Anything else is a distraction.

9. Why do you want to work for this organization?

This may take some thought and certainly, should be based on the research you have done
on the organization. Sincerity is extremely important here and will easily be sensed. Relate
it to your long-term career goals.

10. Do you know anyone who works for us?

Be aware of the policy on relatives working for the organization. This can affect your answer
even though they asked about friends not relatives. Be careful to mention a friend only if
they are well thought of.

11. What kind of salary do you need?

A loaded question. A nasty little game that you will probably lose if you answer first. So, do
not answer it. Instead, say something like, That's a tough question. Can you tell me the
range for this position? In most cases, the interviewer, taken off guard, will tell you. If not,
say that it can depend on the details of the job. Then give a wide range.

12. Are you a team player?

You are, of course, a team player. Be sure to have examples ready. Specifics that show you
often perform for the good of the team rather than for yourself are good evidence of your
team attitude. Do not brag, just say it in a matter-of-fact tone. This is a key point.

13. How long would you expect to work for us if hired?

Specifics here are not good. Something like this should work: I'd like it to be a long time. Or
As long as we both feel I'm doing a good job.

14. Have you ever had to fire anyone? How did you feel about that?

This is serious. Do not make light of it or in any way seem like you like to fire people. At the
same time, you will do it when it is the right thing to do. When it comes to the organization
versus the individual who has created a harmful situation, you will protect the organization.
Remember firing is not the same as layoff or reduction in force.

15. What is your philosophy towards work?

The interviewer is not looking for a long or flowery dissertation here. Do you have strong
feelings that the job gets done? Yes. That's the type of answer that works best here. Short
and positive, showing a benefit to the organization.
16. If you had enough money to retire right now, would you?

Answer yes if you would. But since you need to work, this is the type of work you prefer. Do
not say yes if you do not mean it.

17. Have you ever been asked to leave a position?

If you have not, say no. If you have, be honest, brief and avoid saying negative things
about the people or organization involved.

18. Explain how you would be an asset to this organization

You should be anxious for this question. It gives you a chance to highlight your best points
as they relate to the position being discussed. Give a little advance thought to this
relationship.

19. Why should we hire you?

Point out how your assets meet what the organization needs. Do not mention any other
candidates to make a comparison.

20. Tell me about a suggestion you have made

Have a good one ready. Be sure and use a suggestion that was accepted and was then
considered successful. One related to the type of work applied for is a real plus.

21. What irritates you about co-workers?

This is a trap question. Think real hard but fail to come up with anything that irritates you.
A short statement that you seem to get along with folks is great.

22. What is your greatest strength?

Numerous answers are good, just stay positive. A few good examples:
Your ability to prioritize, Your problem-solving skills, Your ability to work under pressure,
Your ability to focus on projects, Your professional expertise, Your leadership skills, Your
positive attitude .

23. Tell me about your dream job.
Stay away from a specific job. You cannot win. If you say the job you are contending for is
it, you strain credibility. If you say another job is it, you plant the suspicion that you will be
dissatisfied with this position if hired. The best is to stay genetic and say something like: A
job where I love the work, like the people, can contribute and can't wait to get to work.

24. Why do you think you would do well at this job?
Give several reasons and include skills, experience and interest.

25. What are you looking for in a job? See answer # 23
