Google goggles..The next generation search Engine

Some time back read this article in a news paper. It was interesting.Google goggles .The thing is i don wanna get technical and i dunno to.Right nw we search typing plain text.In this we use pictures to search the web.Anyway they say its just the beginning and not perfected yet.

All yu need to have is a android enabled phone with version 1.6 or higher and obviously a internet access.Yu focus the phones camera on an object, say eiffel tower,Yu get all the details related to that.Well everybody knows about eiffel tower but when yu're looking at something and yu have no idea what it is ,this comes in handy.Yu point your camera in goggles mode at a building and it gives yu details of the building using gps.Similary if yu're looking for restaurant it shows the details of the restaurants within your reach. The search is very optimised ,say yu search for a restaurant called "The White house" in chennai,it doesn return yu results showing "The White house" of united states.

For techies yu can refer this link for a more clearer explanation:

Google Goggles

I can sense some ppl thinking what if i point at a pretty gal walking down the lane what it would point ??,as my friend asked. The answer is NOTHING.It seems right now facial recognition (or any other) is not included. Its been considered INVASION OF PRIVACY.
It may be a future addition

So folks who have android enabled phones and some money and lotsa free time doin nothin give it a try.....

cya folks meet ya soon .........
